ENGINEER OFFICER IN CHARGE OF A WATCH, 1999 Edition

This course covers the mandatory requirements of regulation III/1 of STCW 1978, as amended in 1995, for the training requirements of engineer officers in charge of a watch in a manned engine room or designated duty engineers in a periodically unmanned engine-room. It is based on the minimum knowledge required for certification of engineer officers in charge of a watch in a manned engine room or designated duty engineer officers in a periodically unmanned engine-room as set out in section A-III/1 of the STCW Code.
